C3 to attend UCISA Edinburgh conference

C3 are pleased to be exhibiting at the annual UCISA Conference in March (EICC, Edinburgh 18-20 March) where we will be demonstrating applications from our Customer Engagement suite of products.

C3’s core platform and associated applications are all infrastructure agnostic, supporting TDM and SIP simultaneously. This means that leading edge technology can be deployed on legacy infrastructure (extending the life of the PBX) and simply migrated across to the IP network, with no disruption to end user services. Meet C3 at UCISA’s Converged Network & Telephony event

C3 is attending UCISA’s Converged Network and Telephony event next month.

The theme for the event is meeting the challenges associated with the transition to a converged network – something C3 has considerable experience in having assisted a number of universities, including the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and London metropolitan, in their transition to IP.

C3 will be discussing the challenge of Clearing and showcasing Contact, their multichannel contact centre solution.

The event takes place 29 October, at Austin Court, Birmingham.

For more information and to register for the event please visit the UCISA website.

Come visit C3 at UCISA 2014 Conference

C3 is exhibiting at the annual UCISA Conference this month (Brighton Centre 26-28 March) where we will be demonstrating applications from our Customer Engagement suite of products.

C3’s core platform and associated applications are all infrastructure agnostic, supporting TDM and SIP simultaneously. This means that leading edge technology can be deployed on legacy infrastructure (extending the life of the PBX) and simply migrated across to the IP network, with no disruption to end user services.

Visitors to stand 45 will be able to see demonstrations of our core Higher Education package, which incorporates our multichannel contact centreIVR tools and voice recognition dialler, as well as learn more about the benefits of working with third party suppliers during the IP migration.

C3 to attend UCISA’s Converged Networks Conference

C3 will be attending UCISA’s Converged and Telephony Services conference next week, in Sheffield.

The event is an opportunity for exhibitors and delegates to share their experience of the IP migration process and what can be done to make the transition from TDM to SIP as smooth as possible.

C3 will be discussing the benefits of a “best of breed” approach to IP migration, in a joint presentation with Gordon Ross, Head of Telecoms at the University of Cambridge.

“We are really looking forward to the Converged Networks conference,” said Steve Adams, Sales Manager at C3. “It’s been a long time since all the UK’s HE Telecom teams were under one roof, and the market has obviously changed considerably in that period.

“C3 is known for being a specialist telecommunications provider but we have broadened our development path in the last few years. Our products have much more of a multichannel focus to them, in order to support integrated 360 degree communication.”

With many traditional PBX systems reaching end of life within the next couple of years, the pressure is on institutions to future proof their communication infrastructure. The temptation is to go for one supplier, and the promise of simplified installation and ongoing management. However there can be challenges with this approach, which C3 will set out at the event.

Converged Networks and Telephony is a UCISA event. It takes place at Electric Works, Sheffield, on 29 January. For more information and to book a delegate place visit www.ucisa.ac.uk.

C3 to attend new HE network and telephony show

C3 will be attending UCISA’s Converged Network and Telephony Services show in January.

The event, which is being held at the Electric Works, in Sheffield, on January 29th, gives attendees the chance to share their experience of the IP migration process. This is an issue that is becoming more pressing as institutional legacy switches reach end of life, and is an area in which C3 has a high level of knowledge and expertise.

This is the first Converged Network and Telephony Service event from UCISA. The show will be welcomed by those working in higher education telecoms, particularly as the AUA Communications in HE was cancelled earlier this year.

“We are really looking forward to exhibiting at the UCISA show in January,” said John Wood, Sales and Marketing Director. “It will give us a chance to catch up with our existing customers, as well as speak to others who are considering their options for IP migration.”

This event is aimed at management and staff responsible for providing network and telephony services. Click here for more information about the show.

C3 to attend UCISA 2014

C3 will be exhibiting at UCISA’s annual conference in March 2014.

Billed as “the premier IT event for UK universities and colleges”, UCISA 2014 will be C3’s first UCISA (Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association) conference since joining the organisation as a Corporate Member back in June.

“We are hoping to meet many of the networks and telecoms teams who are considering their options for the IP migration of their voice infrastructure,” said sales and marketing director, John Wood. “Many traditional PBX systems are reaching end of life soon but often a complete rip and replace is just not feasible – or even advisable.

“We have a number of “hybrid” sites, including University of Oxford. Our applications can be deployed at any point in the IP migration process meaning that organisations can maximise the investment in the PBX with C3’s leading edge technology. Then simply move those applications over to SIP when they’re ready.”

C3 will be demonstrating the latest version of Contact, its multichannel contact centre solution, at the conference (26-29 March 2014, Brighton). As well as offering universities an effective means of managing their communication across multiple channels, Contact also supports burstable voice capacity for peak call flows e.g. Clearing.

If you would like more information about Contact of any of C3’s products, please email sales@c3.co.uk.
