LookOut Call

Recent advances in telecommunications have created a much more flexible working environment and many organisations employ a significant number of people who work from home or spend time alone visiting customers in the community. These remote workers usually keep in touch with colleagues by phone and email.
 
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Health and Safety Offences Act 2008 places responsibility on both employers and lone workers to ensure that adequate safety procedures are put in place and are conscientiously adhered to.
 
C3 has been involved in lone worker safety since 1999 and provides automated lone worker safety systems and emergency response solutions to a wide range of organisations. 

LookOut call, C3’s lone worker safety system, is used by more than 10 000 lone workers in the UK. It gives vulnerable lone workers a highly reliable means of ensuring that colleagues are instantly alerted if they are overdue from an appointment or if emergency assistance is required.

LookOut call is really easy to use. Lone workers can update the system of their whereabouts in a few seconds simply by pressing a single button on their phone. LookOut call is supplied as a managed service and is hosted and maintained at C3’s secure premises in Cambridge. LookOut call is sold on a “license-per-user” basis so there are no hidden call charges or hefty installation fees.
